ECO CERT PRICKLY PEAR SEED OILECO CERT PRICKLY PEAR SEED OIL

We don’t like to use the word “miracle” – but if we had to, it would be to describe Prickly Pear Seed Oil because it is just loaded with goodness.  It is derived from the Prickly Pear Cactus, by cold pressing the seeds from its fruit, and has been used for centuries to treat everything from dry skin, burns and other ailments.

Here are just some of the many properties and benefits of this fantastic oil:

ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS: Prickly Pear Seed Oil is loaded with Omega 6 and essential fatty acids (which we are unable to produce on our own). Through the oil, these essential fatty acids absorb into the skin, deeply moisturising the collagen in our skin to tighten pores, increase cell turnover, restore elasticity, brighten complexion, and reduce redness or dryness.

VITAMIN E: Prickly Pear Seed Oil is loaded with Vitamin E (it contains 150% more vitamin E than argan oil!), which fights free radicals, increases cell renewal and protects the skin against wrinkles and premature aging

VITAMIN K: lightens under-eye circles, moisturises and softens the skin.

NON-GREASY: Prickly Pear Seed Oil is non-comedogenic, which means that the oil can deeply penetrate your skin without clogging pores or causing breakouts.

ANTIVIRAL & ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES: the beeswax in the base of our balms is already loaded with antifungal and antibacterial properties. With the addition of Prickly Pear Seed Oil, we are also including antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties into this super handy, all-round balm, which can be used on anything; from dry, sensitive skin that is in need of a megadose of moisture, to speeding up the healing of minor cuts or burns.

ECO CERT:  our Prickly Pear Seed Oil is certified by the Eco Cert organic certification organisation.  It is cold pressed and organic, and of the highest quality you can find. We just love the mega dose of moisture our Eco Cert Prickly Pear Seed Oil injects into our ORGANIC BEESWAX BALMS, to protect, hydrate and rejuvenate.
